The new bearing edges make the drums sound even better than they did when Ludwig produced them. The spring latches he uses for the drums are not like anything I have come across. They are super strong and easy to use. There is no play in them and they open and close super smooth with just a turn on the latch. The biggest thing I saw was his attention to detail, such as badge placement and specific hardware placement. These minor details are things I did not think about, and that’s the thing that I admire about his work. Cameron takes his time, he doesn’t rush and he updates you along the way. He will even call and go over things just to make sure everyone is one the same page. I have played other nesting kits before, but what he built for me is absolutely jaw-dropping, not just by looks – but sound as well. Super portable and a true show-piece. I couldn’t be happier. He is without a doubt a true craftsman. Whatever you need done to your drums, Cameron is your guy.”
