This custom snare was made for Danny Carey of TOOL, and made its live debut at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. on November 25th, 2019.

The drum shell consists of 8-plys of 100% birch, with the addition of thick maple reinforcement rings. The classic Sonor Phonics lugs were kept for more than a decade for this build. The geometry lined with gold metal flake was depicted from ‘Fear Inoculum,’ Tool’s most recent album.
